La Maestría tiene como objetivo caracterizar las adicciones como problemática de salud, enfatizando en la prevención del consumo indebido de sustancias psicoactivas, con enfoque científico e intersectorial, dirigido a elevar la eficiencia de los procesos de atención de salud, docencia, investigación y extensión universitaria.

El Consejo Ampliado de la FEU de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas “Manuel Fajardo” ha dejado conformado el nuevo SECRETARIADO a nivel de centro.

De igual forma se reestructuraron los grupos de activistas para cada frente con el propósito de fortalecer el trabajo de la organización.

Los días 2 y 3 de mayo de 2013 se celebrará la Jornada Científica Estudiantil y de Residentes de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas Manuel Fajardo. 

El Programa General incluye las conferencias magistrales que se efectuarán en varias instituciones del municipio Plaza de la Revolución el jueves en la mañana. A partir de las 2 pm se incian las presentaciones de más de 200 ponencias en salones ubicados en el Hospital Fajardo (para residentes) y en los locales de la facultad (para estudiantes).
