La nueva pandemia del COVID-19 no impide que nuestros logros se derrumben, sino que impone nuevos retos. Después de un proceso electivo satisfactorio a nivel de facultad, el nuevo secretariado de cultura de la FEU perteneciente a la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas ¨Manuel Fajardo¨ efectuó su primera reunión para dar continuación al proceso de planificación de eventos culturales y debatir estrategias para el presente curso, pero esta vez serán llevadas al espacio virtual.

En el marco de la Semana de la solidaridad con los pueblos que luchan contra el racismo y la discriminación racial (Semana del 21-27 de marzo)el accionar de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas ¨Manuel Fajardo¨ no dejan por medio esta fecha ;sino que su apoyo en la lucha contra la discriminación se extiende curso tras curso, mediante la incorporación de nuevos estudiantes de disímiles nacionalidades y etnias a nuestro sistema de enseñanza,los cuales son acogidos con gran entusiasmo por los estudiantes de la propia facultad.

Tras la llegada de la informatización a los procesos educativos y con el objetivo de cumplir con la construcción colectiva de saberes la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas Manuel Fajardo, dio inicio el pasado martes 23 de marzo al Curso Pre-Jornada Científica Estudiantil.

Un servicio para el desarrollo del aprendizaje en red: Aula Virtual de Salud

Dentro de la amplísima gama de servicios que ofrece la red Infomed a los profesionales de la salud cubana, existe uno en particular estrechamente relacionado con la Universidad Virtual de Salud (UVS) y las actividades formativas a distancia, se trata del Aula Virtual, un espacio que al decir de la coordinadora de la sede central, la especialista Grisel Zaca González, "intenta brindar soporte para el desarrollo de las actividades docentes, tal y como ocurre en un aula presencial, a través de una serie de recursos y herramientas que permiten desarrollar los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje".
